They’d turn off his voice, but then they’d miss the audio indicator of the crucial 4th shot, his speed buff and the vulnerable reloading moment. SO, Riot, let’s make a Jhin skin where his counting itself becomes more interesting. Let’s make a Jhin skin where he counts 1,2,3,4 in EVERY LANGUAGE known to League of Legends. To players, it’s a chance to break the auditory monotony of an otherwise fantastic, one-of-a-kind ADC. And where else can you learn to count to 4 in German, French, Portuguese, Korean, Japanese and Mandarin, et cetera? For Riot, it actually involves NO NEW RECORDING because it recycles sound clips from Jhin as recorded for all languages. It only requires a new visual package. Easy pickings include “World traveler Jhin” or “Polyglot Jhin” with no big visual differences, but I’m hooked on “Tourist Jhin” with a selfie stick. The best part? His “Lotus Trap” ability is LITERALLY a ‘Tourist Trap’.
