On her original new splash her left arm looks a bit strange, or as Cles would say: she's really flexible :D

I think its doable but not a natural position unless you have a joint dislocated.

honestly i could see it.
the weird thing is probably the location of the elbow. it's been distorted for dramatic effect it seems.
