What people don't understand about old Aatrox's character

One of the things I saw people complain about most regarding the Aatrox rework is that his character, treating murder as an art form, was done away with. What people don't realize is this was done much better with another champion.

His name is Jhin.

Aatrox only vaguely referred to it as such. Jhin makes many references to how he wishes blood was in different colors, talking like a combination of a flamboyant stage director and artiste, and emphasizing drama above all else. Jhin is a better Aatrox than old Aatrox.

Why we cant have 2 champions with similar character?

I mean, Renekton has basically the same character of Aatrox and a similar lore, But Renekton is a bit more insane.

Why do you think that its okay changing the character of Aatrox because another champion had a similar character, but then giving the same character of an already stablished champion to the new Aatrox?

It is a contradiction if you ask me.

Jhin sees death as an art.

Old Aatrox saw war as one.

war =/= death.

war isn't just about people dying,it is also about glory,struggle and fighting.

I don’t agree Jhin is a sociopathic sadist. He sounds way too enthusiastic in some of his quotes and in his laugh he sounds like he has lost his mind. Old Aatrox was apathetic and I don’t know where you’re getting the flamboyant from because he was pretty low key for me. Old Aatrox only wanted more wars because it made him stronger not because he got off on it or took pleasure in a singular death unlike Jhin.

In fact I say that new Aatrox is closer to Jhin than the old one was.

Aatrox came out before Jhin did.
