I read the new lore for Janna and now she's more like an inhuman ghost-protector. But actually I loved her background as an poor orphan fighting through the city as an young beauty with her magic hiding from zauns brutal scientist. I really really liked the old lore and tell me what you think about the new one:)
New one is ok, but I have to agree, I miss the older lore. I'd be ok if she were swapped to a wind spirit, but retained her life of living among the humans and owning her own airship, that'd be some straight up fantasy fun right there, but alas, that's all gone now.
I have the complete opposite opinion, the background change to a pure wind elemental is good, but the execution was kind of lackluster due to a lack of real narrative. She's just kind of there. I think it'd be better if the story was from her perspective so we could actually see what she's thinking since she has personally seen Zaun goes from a random port city into a dystopian hellhole.
