AAtrox /taunt sounds like it should be /joke. Meanwhile, his /joke is completely silent. Why?

I recently started playing AAtrox only to find his Taunts sound like they should be jokes

"I am like a demon, but more edgy, right? You know, cause I'm a sword. Hmm..."
"So uh, I'm Aatrox. I'm a transcendental being trapped inside cutlery... What's your deal?"
"Uh, nice world you have here. I intend to destroy it, you know, FYI."

Meanwhile his actual /joke is completely silent.

I thought this was a bug at first, but did some research and discovered this was added on the PBE during his re-release.

So I'd just like to understand why 's taunt dialogue was designed in this bizarre way. His Taunt's menacing visual pose feels like it was intended to be matched with more aggressive rhetoric.

So post Tahm Kench most champs "jokes" are mimes. (i.e. not actually a verbal joke -- instead a purely physical/ animation gag.) The "Taunts" are where most verbal jokes have gone.

There was a miscommunication on Aatrox (who was made on experimental shortened timeline) and I didn't know we weren't redoing the joke animation (pre-tahm Kench VO model) into something bigger (like a normal current champ) until after I had already recorded and placed the audio in buckets.

BUT ALSO This the first character to try "First Encounter" lines which are meant to replace the original intention of Taunt lines. (Which no-one used that way).

Taunts still exist -- but based on observation-- they are mostly used while waiting in bush with a jungler-- or waiting in bush preparing to invade.
This is a place/time in the game where people spam laughs and do other silly things-- so AAtrox's taunts are intentionally silly and outside of the normal bounds of his personality and character.

TLDR my fault. I think we briefly put a line from another bucket in there-- but then it felt weird (As it was just a taunt in the wrong place) There was talk of having him hum or whistle. It's currently unresolved. When I do my next champs VO session, I'm gonna make something and then steal some time from my sound guy to fix it.

Well he kinda just taunts everyone automatically when he steps in lane anyways.
