I'd like the clear some things up regarding Senna and Thresh's lore.

First off, Senna is bound to the soul of the Ruined King's wife, which is the reason the mist homes in on her, because the Ruined King wants his wife back. But more importantly, the Queen's soul was infused with the waters of life, just like Maokai and Yorick who manage to remain corrupted by the Mist (at least not to the extent of other SI champions). As a result, Senna too is infused with the waters of life and thus is resistant to the effects of the Mist. Ultimately, this is why she is able to appear mostly human.

In regards to Thresh, it was never stated in his old lore that he physically tortured the souls in his lantern. Also, his new bio doesn't say he never tortured any living magical artifacts, as it simply doesn't tell us how he spent his time in the vaults. Really, Thresh's big thing is, and always was, psychological torture (the worst kind of torment imo). He chooses a victim and then spends years tearing everything they ever loved away from them, while letting them know he did it and that he takes pleasure in it. Then, once they've lost all hope, he collects their soul to make them watch as he does the same thing to countless others; causing them to relive the suffering he inflicted upon them, time and time again. Thresh is just as big of a monster as he was before. Additionally, Senna likely wasn't overly tormented in his lantern, because she didn't spend enough time in it. She was in there for like six years, while everyone else has been their, or will be in there, for way longer, allowing for more time for misery to sink in.

Also, Thresh allowing Senna to remain free for now is no big deal. While he didn't intend for her to get out, its all part of his mind games. He wants to give Lucien and Senna some hope so it will be all the sweeter when he tears it away later. Tbh, if I were a sadist like him, I'd do the same thing.

I don't think it's confirmed she's bound to the Ruined King's wife, but I had the same thought.

It would make sense.

Also, it should be noted that Senna also never got put through Thresh's first bout of torture. She was captured in active combat. She wasn't stalked. So her psyche was intact when she was captured. Since she never had to deal with a broken mind, she was able to keep a cool head. She knew Lucian would save her eventually. So she spent her time preparing for that and occupied herself creating her Spirit Relic and saving the other souls.

In universe this makes sense even if it isn't really a canon explanation yet. Out of universe it feels like a bullshit excuse for why she doesn't look undead or tormented from her years of torture.

No, Thresh has physically tortured people before, he just wasn't the demon at the time. When he was a monk, they had a prisoner he watched over who could heal from any wound. Thresh ripped him apart repeatedly

Just where did this about the King´s wife pop out from?

Although i can get behind the notion that she somehow developed a unique magic after getting into contact with a loose wisp of black mist found on that ruined ship as a kid.

The wisp marked her and kinda acts like a beacon for the rest of the mist, but due to her having learnt by studying that wisp she became able to resist it, and even even use it after a few years inside the lantern.

The only thing i dont get is if she is undead or not.

One thing that does NOT make sense is where the waters of life was during the battle sequence in the animated trailer.

Was it on the ground where Thresh and Lucian thought?

Then 10 years later riot deletes sienna and she gets put back in the lantern.

This is the perfect set-up for adding the Ruined King into the game... Have one of the existing champions be infused with his wife's soul, and have him react to it in his interactions. Ruined King as champion when, Riot? XD

i think her faith and the fact that lucian was just beyond always stalking thresh might give her strength and hope

I don't know why people think this would make Lucian change. If you kidnapped my daughter and I beat you near death and got my kid back, I'm not gonna forgive you and be all "we cool fam uwu"
