Well, there are these powerful sorcerers known as summoners...wait, why were we fighting again?
Well, we USED to have a reason why we fought... but then they retconned the lore and now I think all the fights are taking place in the imagination of a mental patient as he's being digested by Baron Nashor or something. Or it's like the end of Fight Club, only we're ALL Edward Norton, and every time we imagined Zed fighting Shen or something we were actually in a room alone screaming asian-sounding gibberish and punching ourselves in the crotch.
