but I didn't get any credit towards "play nexus blitz as a yordle champion" quest :(
Does 
count as a yordle too? I know his story during the Pyke event said he was a yordle but I wouldn't be surprised if the game still doesn't count him as one.
Amumu is ambiguous. He's either a human child or a Yordle.
Amummu doesnt have fur and you cant see his ears, he is not a yordle.
Amumu was originally a mummy child, and then retconned into a Yordle ages prior to the Lore Rebuilds. I don't know why he was changed although I suspect "dead child" presented them some game ratings issues. I don't think they've made clear in the New Lore yet if he is still considered a yordle now that they are magical faeries instead of tiny animal-people, or if he is back to being an undead child.
Amumus Yordle status has always been ambiguous. Riot has specifically made it so he has 4 fingers like a Yordle, triggers some but not all Yordle lines, but doesn't count as a Yordle to missions.
Basically, they're just fucking with us lore lovers.
Yeah, I tried that mission with him just to see and it didn't work. So I think they left him off cause they are trying to say he is no longer one.
