are the magical creatures the descendants of the vastayashai'rei?

we know that the vastayas are the descendants of the vastayashai'rei, but we dont know what has become of the vastayashai'rei who have not mixed with humans; magical creatures (dragons, griffins and perhaps brackerns) have a material body and probably need magic to survive. This would explain the crystal (probably concentrated spiritual magic) that brackerns take to survive in non-magical places. Perhaps the vastayashai'rei have fled the spirit world and have become less magicalanimals because spirits have driven them away. These are just ideas, but tell me what you think

No, I don't think so. Other races besides vastaya are their own races that have evolved separately. And I sure hope Riot sticks to that, because we've had too many retcons lazily connecting lore bits together anyway.

that s why I think brackerns are vastayas or vastayashai rei
