Riot KiWiKiD: Hey guys, sorry for being late. Like some of you know and have commented: PF Shen's Cycle is now locked. Only severe bugs will be addressed at this point.

To reply to sword width: We actually tried looking at how it would be if his sword width was smaller, but it looked awkward and likely could not be fixed without an entire sword design + model redo. We are happy with how it looks now with the reduced length (your comments about how it looked weird with the auto animations about it being too long was spot on). I am sorry that it may seem that your feedback was not heard, I assure you we tried most if not all suggestions here (before 5/11).

To which I reply: fine. Let's go over what was suggested by everyone in the comments (if you don't believe me, check it yourself here in this thread) and see why no changes other than a simple slight sword length reduction was made.

##Red Circle: Super bulky chest piece I fail to see how this change was not for the better. The chest piece looks like somebody rammed a refrigerator into his chest and he's wearing it around like a war trophy (new lore?). The splash art looks so nice, sleek, and it fits his form well. This is clunky, strange, and cartoonish. This was the biggest pain point, in my opinion, as it messes with his silhouette and frankly looks goofy.

^Look at that sweet haircut Shen has in his splash art. That, ladies and gentlemen, is a nice haircut. The weird mullet thing he has going on in his in-game model is weird and looks... just bad. It looks like he's wearing a stylized toupée. And believe me, as much as toupées can be fashionable, it doesn't look that great on Shen. Fix the hair, please. PLEASE. Shen is an attractive, young, badass man, and he deserves the best. This actually bothers people who play it because they have high expectations from the splash art. It's like an expectations VS reality meme, and that is not something we want on what will potentially be Shen's greatest skin.

##Green Circle: The shoulder armor When I saw the splash art for Pulsefire Shen, I looked at that shoulder armor and thought "dayum, that looks stylish." When I looked in-game, I saw a simple, two-ridged shoulder piece and was, frankly, quite disappointed. It no longer looks stylish, badass, or has the feudal japan vibe and charm it does in the splash art. This was a fix that could have been made in a day, since the design is right there. I'm not too sure this change was actually heard or tried. It's something that, in retrospect, was an oversight.

The recall animation is great, but no base or respawn animation? That's out of character for Riot skins. I'm honestly not sure why they didn't add one, but I hope they can so that the skin feels more complete and fluid.

This looks awkward. You have a super wide sword made for cleaving and swinging and this man is swiping it like a dagger. If you make a new weapon like this, it looks a lot better to make new animations. Warlord Shen was a skin like this, and it received attack animations that were different, I do not see why this new, modern skin can't get that treatment. The empowered sword could also use some work, as it is scrawny and franky doesn't look like an 'empowered' attack.

Riot, if you care about the players and their opinions, you will do this skin justice and delay this by a patch to actually spend time and effort to fix it. It has been more than 5 years since Shen got an actual skin and it would only be fair if time was spent to actually fix it up and finish it before it is released. This is the Shen skin we have all been waiting for, and I am hoping that we can get something we can both see its full potential brought out.

I have high hopes for this skin. And so do the rest of us. Do it justice, it has so much potential. Please delay the skin a patch. Spend a bit more time to complete it. It would be the best thing we could ever ask for. Thank you.
