this line from the Ezreal story is making me hope for Mordekaiser vgu ''The dread lord will rise again''

A Dread Lord? Great, that puts Runeterra's current number of apocalyptic threats at....what, six?

Noticed a typo as I was reading "The Curator's Gambit."

I winced as pulled myself back to my feet. He had kicked me unnecessarily hard, but at least he spared my face.

Should probably be an I there.

It's small, but I'm so happy that Ezreal's story continued on from one of his previous ones. Now not only did we get to see how he got the elixir, but why. It's such a small payoff, but seeing there actually be a payoff makes me so hopeful.

Lucian and Kassadin are like 2 sides of the same coin.

Both lost wives (plus daughter for Kassadin), both fight against darkness. One against the Shadow Isles, one against the Void.

Both are champions with dark past, using weapons originally not belonging themselves, depressive but motivated, affected by their enemy faction somehow, at side of greater good.

Their short stories are just too parallel to ignore and not notice things above. That's obviously what they intended.

this is also new correct? i really appreciate the style of writing in this. character's point of view in this manner can be really fun and informative. it can tell us a lot about the character's thoughts and personality.

plus the map is updated as well. Ezreal surely spent a lot of time south of Shurima.
