I was just wondering what everyone thought on this. I've been getting back into Zyra and she definitely needs a VU. Her basic attacks and her 0lants attacks are gross. What are some champions you think need VUs?
Just VUs not VGUs so if you think they need a VGU then that is a different subject.
Hmm champions I think are fine kit wise and would love some Visual updates would be 
just to name a few.

To get a pure VU with no gameplay changes? Probably would be my most wanted.
The "VU" he got with his gameplay update in 2016 is still unfinished. New animations only for walking and auto-attacking and nothing else, no additional VO (jeez, Keith Silverstein said he would love to do more on him, what are you waiting for ???), he already has a solid theme, so no need to do a big lore retcon. Maybe a very minor gameplay update to fix his balance problems, and voilà, you're done with Shen.

For me, my most wanted VU is Fiddlesticks. Ever since the Twist of Fate trailer, I've been hoping for Riot to update him and make him look at least close to how badass/scary he was in that cinematic. The same applies to Jax. Aside from them, though...

Some if his skins are up there but the rest are outdated and his base model has been the same since he was released in S4.
His base model is just an abomination to look up compared to his splash art. He's among sone of the most outdated chars visually.
IDK why there's a discussion of VU only reworks, because we're all well aware Riot doesn't do them anymore. Like sharing hypothetical candidates for VGUs and VgUs are at least plausible in most regard.

She got her visual update already. When her passive changed, her death animation stayed the same for quite a while. They updated the death animation visually to reflect her new passive. Won't be another one until 2029 sorry buddy.[sg-poppy]

VGU? Not really any that comes to mind. VU? Dozens, like 
, , , to name a few off the top of my head.
I wouldn't be against Gragas and Pantheon getting a full VGU, but all 6 of these have awful visuals. Anivia was already given a VU, and that's just sad.
: Has the weird Big Feet style that Riot had going on in their early career, and has a fairly undetailed model and boring animation cycle.
: Looks blurry and awful. I get it, he's an overweight drunkard, but could we at least get him out of 8-bit graphics and into the age of modern computing? Also see the Big Feet thing above.
: All the skins except for Blackfrost and Festival Anivia just look pretty bad. It's the same problem that Kayle has (although that's soon to be remedied with her impending VGU).
: His walk animation is AWFUL, especially when empowered by homeguard or a similar haste effect. A lot of his projectiles use lightning effects that are EXTREMELY dated, and he overall just looks ugly in-game. As do most of his skins, which is a tragedy considering his updated splash art for Classic Rumble looks cute AF.

: Her ult isn't a bullet, it's literally just a pair of spinning gears around a ball bearing. Honestly like wtf lol. Her other abilities have very old particles attached to them as well, like her Q and W.
Make it Ice. it's just smashed blue plastic bottles. Her VFX is terrible.
Definitely could use some VFX improvements. Is her ult supposed to be rainbow? Laser beam? Light lights? Idk... Her outfit should me modernized as well.
Her VFX don't really feel windy (E) and the bird makes no sense. Zephyr needs to be either removed or explained. (Why does she send it into her enemies ?)
I never liked her kit, it limits her art and her skins. Q will be blue, W will be green, E will be purple etc. It still looks nothing like sound waves, but that's normal since they aren't visible. Game clarity kills her.
I don't get it.. She is relatively newer champion, but still has some of the worse VFX in the game. It's magic. They could make it looks much better, a lot of potential.
Well pretty much every champ that didn't already get a full VU and was released before the end of season 2 should be looked at eventually,because you can clearly notice a bump in animation/model-quality around that time(granted some of the later season 2 champs are also fine).
Of course that doesn't mean that everyone out of that group needs a VU equally(Ziggs looks outdated by todays standards,but he doesn't look nearly as bad as Corki) and there is also whose been noted to be in the need for a full VGU,even though she came out in 2013.
There are also some champs where I'd really like to see a redesign(most notably

Abilities
This guy looks as if you've put minecraft flowing water in 2D inside. Also, his sarcophagus doeant even have texture inside what is very visible and lazy. :/
Shurima 2014 update changed his lore, later darkin changed some stuff too but even tho this guy is basicaly the reason everything in Runeterra is how it is currently, his quotes still reffer to 2010-2013 lore. Like- c'mon!

it is not so important at this time. she needs a good gameplay and lore update more.
