Can riot communicate a little more about which skin sets are/aren't returning

I know riot likes to give some sets a year or two off, maybe even discontinue them for awhile. What I'd like to know is if it'd be possible to let the fans know in advance if a line of skins, PROJECT, Academy, Star Gaurdian, etc. is or isn't going to be seen in a given year. This isn't asking which champs would be getting one or anything, just give us a heads up if something is or isn't returning.

I would like to know if we get Star Guardians this year. But I doubt that we are going to get information like that, they would probably fear that it decreases the hype when they release the skins then.
