Someone's gonna need to spring that one on Kayle at some point and see how she reacts to it.
That is not a line that needs to be said to Kayle, but her writer, and countless other fellow hacks who can only ever interpret and illustrate any notion of justice and order with some twisted and disgusting flair of zealous tyranny.
Depicting a good character being actually good and vice versa is boring, trope-y, and predictable, them hacks all say. Then how the fuck isn't the pervasive (and literally everywhere) flip-flopping of making all good characters tyrants and all evil characters misunderstood saints to a point that is ALL we see being played out, any different than that?
