@Riot, If You Desire to Respect Core Themes, Respect Summoners As A Core Theme Of Runeterra!

I would argue that the Institute of War helped provide for one of the core theme of Ruenterra...political strife.

Just look at the relationships between Demacia and Noxus...

Post retcon lore doesn't really seem to fit well with the core themes of Runeterra.

Most of the stuff developed post retcon seems to exists on its own little lore bubble that doesn't have any effect on Runeterra as world.

Hell, some of the new lore is steamrolling the old lore into oblivion.

Worse than that, some of the new lore isn't even written yet! (See Jax!)

In my opinion, if summoners don't even exist anymore, then you're just tearing Runeterra apart and starting from scratch with no respect to core themes. ** Summoners were an integral part of Runeterra! ** Riot, don't lie to yourself. This retcon destroyed Runeterra, and re-developed it in a much more boring and easy to write about way.

The lore retcon was a huge step backwards in terms of League of Legends storytelling...hell, the League of Legends doesn't even exist anymore in Runeterra! I can't fathom the levels of stupid that made that decision!!!
