Fiora's splash art is really well done...

To everyone complaining about Fiora:

I'm hearing "bad quality" and looking at the splash you're complaining about... Do you see the extreme detail? The lighting on the blade and armor? The lines of her muscles on her torso? The coloring of her face alone could've taken hours. Yes, her facial structure looks different, but I have heard complaints so many times about all the female faces being alike, that there isn't enough differentiation. Then when we get a more unique look there is immediate outcry that it isn't "hot" enough? This isn't by any explanation, and "ugly" face. There is serious skill, time, and effort poured into this art and when I hear people shouting "Ew yuck" without an explanation that isn't vague opinion, I suspect what they'd really like to be saying is "Not enough definition on these tits! Why isn't dat ass front and center?"

Is that where we're at?

Here's the thing. Fiora's current splash isn't great because she's got OMGMASSIVETITTIES because she doesn't. It's not even amazing because DAT ASS or DEM HIPS because those are, at most, slightly implied. There isn't a thing objectionable about Fiora's current splash art, nor is there anything that somehow goes against the 'thematics' of League of Legends. The very notion that League has some consistent style just doesn't hold water. There isn't even thematic consistency within the loose in-game factions.

But what anyone who knows anything about art can spot immediately is how well made Fiora's current splash is. If you like you can go on youtube and watch from beginning to end the process by which the artist completed it. It's really good. Seriously, it's a cut above the majority of League's splashes.

And the new one isn't.

The rest of the criticism towards it comes from changing a champion people liked the art and design of to something new/less desired, and by its association with the models, which all have their own issues.

You can't just write us off as being upset that we can't fap to our waifu and what have you because that shit ain't the truth.

We also see her right eyebrow going so low that it's pretty much digging into her nose. We also see how her hair meets with her scalp in such an awkward manner that it looks like she's trying to hide a massive bald spot. We also see chin that's sticking out like a tumor or something.

The problem is not about being sexy. Her armor and the blade are quite ok, but her face is too cartoony, saturated and antipathetic. Also the haircut is just meh, poorly drawn and doesn't match with the Fiora's grace and mischief we liked.

The splash art is well drawn in some aspects, but the changed concept of her face and hair that we as Fiora players have come to love is unacceptable. Her perfectly symmetrical hair doesn't compare the asymmetrical beauty of her current splash / art. Her hairline is quite unappealing to most players. So what if a splash has a lot of effort put into it? If it doesn't sit well with the community, which i say is the most important part of any visual rework. Than why is it in place in the first place? There was never any dispute with how Fiora looked with most the community, but now its highly disputed. Please look past the splash and realize what they did to the in-game models.
