Anybody else find it hilarious that recolored skins cost so much?

I just saw the new Leona skin and laughed at the fact they are asking almost full price to get the white one. Even the splash is the same. Riot must think their player base is garbage can IQ. They did the same thing to Lancer Blitzcrank and the star guardian pajama skins. The company is asking more out of ya'll and giving you less and everybody is just going to turn a blind eye because people are addicted to having to get EVERYTHING that is available in the shop. I'm still shocked that anybody pays for icons. They are literally tiny squares that nobody notices in the loading screen.

You clearly have not kept yourself updated.

If you own one version, the other version is 45% off. So if you own either Solar or Lunar Leona, the one you don't own will cost you 1001 RP, instead of 1820 RP. The same holds true for the Pajama Guardian skins. If you own the regular variant, the Pajama version costs you 743 RP instead of 1350 RP. This puts it in the same ballpark as a regular 750 RP, which are simple skins that change the model, and rarely modify one of the particle effects. So no, they are not asking full price, and the skins do have difference, though they are small. The Lunar and Solar have different recalls for one, and a few different voice lines as well.

buying skins at all is a complete waste. you get nothing.
