Honor Flares to Match Mastery Banners

Ever since the implementation of the honor system (which I am grateful for), a subtle but relatively important detail has bugged me: the honor flare system progression follows a color scheme opposite to that of the champion mastery system.

If you've slaved over a champion for long enough, you've probably reached mastery level 7. Along with a boss new emote, the status also rewards those dedicated with a mastery banner whenever that champion is played. Importantly, this feature is purely aesthetic and is predominant during the loading screen. Mastery levels of 5, 6 and 7 are themed in gold with red, purple and blue accents.

Hopefully, you've played honorably the past season and have enjoyed the honor flares that accompany progression levels. These screen flares will appear during the loading screen if you had received an honor during the last game (minimum of two honors from members of your queue party). Similar to the champion mastery banners, these are purely aesthetic. Honor levels of 3, 4 and 5 are themed in gold with blue, purple and reddish-orange.

The themes through progression are opposite. And while we do not have much control over the honor system, we can decide whether to level up our champion mastery past level 5. This has led me, and maybe others, to withhold in leveling my champion mastery to align with my level 5 honor.

I would ask Riot artists to explore reworking the honor flares to better match the champion mastery banners, or vice versa. While some might think this pointless, I would like to see this change nonetheless. After all, both the flares and champion banners are purely aesthetic, so why not improve them as such?

Thanks, and I would appreciate feedback from the community on this idea. Which color scheme should be adopted for both? Do people like having different colors when maxed out on the honor and champion mastery systems? What other flare/banner details could be improved?
