Lore updates: Ideas for the future #2

We're back at it again with another set of things that could use a little clarity and depth in my opinion. #3- Bandle City, the Homeland of yordles of all kinds... From deranged psychopathic soldier to mechanics and even a Gunner.... Ok so here's my problem with Bandle City right now; Teemo is apparently this well known scout and vicious soldier, there's a quote from Tristana somewhere about his demeanor but this isn't about Teemo. If Teemo is a soldier then there must be a military, and if there is... Why... Unless I'm remembering correctly there's nothing telling about Bandle City being at war with anyone. Long ago they used to trade with Demacia, but I'm pretty sure that was changed when they became more like supernatural beings rather than just another species. So the lore needs an update there, and..... What even is Corki? If he's a Bandle City yordle then why is Rumble so impressive an inventor when Corki has a PLANE. Just saying.... #4-Talking about Riven specifically here, and if you haven't read confessions of a broken blade and don't want spoilers.... YOU'VE BEEN WARNED******* Alright so with them out of the way so no one can complain about spoilers, unless I'm missing something the last part of Confessions of a Broken Blade ended with Riven being a farm hand and I think she had another chat with Yasuo (oooooh don't worry theres one for him later) and then just kinda.... Is she just a farm hand now? Are her and Yasuo buddies? I've never felt like Yasuo ever had contempt for her, he even gives her advice "You can't run from your past Riven, I've tried." -Yasuo in game to Riven If she is still a farm hand, is that how she'll be forever? No more Riven stories, no "I figured out how the big bad of my story is but I can't do it alone" with Yasuo? No, "Traitors who turn their backs on Noxus, find my blade deep in their hearts" from Talon until she explains the Chem-bombs and Talon (thinking back to his own story of searching for the general and thinking there to be something going on within Noxus (to further develop his own story at the same time)) decided to take one of her shoulder pads as proof as a kill which is why she only had one in game because he showed her mercy due to a mutual understanding? Honestly NOTHING happens when she betrayed Noxus, she just left because they thought her killed in action.... But SWAIN MADE A DEAL WITH A KNOWLEDGE DEMON AND DOESN'T KNOW RIVEN IS ALIVE WITH THEIR WINDBLADE? Just saying....

Anywho that'll conclude this set, feel free to leave comments or ideas below.

About Bandle City:

Honestly I feel like this is the biggest problem for Bandle at the moment. The lore describes it as this whimsical realm,that almost sounds similar to the glade of Lulus lore,yet most of the bandle city champs feel kinda militaristic,which really clashes with the whimsical description that it received so far. The only thing that could work in my opinion would be if they added another enemy to the yordles(maybe the fey?) which would explain why they expand their military that much.

About Riven(specifically Swain):

Well....why would Swain care about Riven? Yes Riven deserted,but she now lives in an enemy territory,so why would he bother going after her,when there is literally nothing to gain for him?

About the question of Corki and Rumble, the difference is that Rumble build a mech using scraps from a Junkyard, literal trash. In other hand Corki did not invented the ROFLCopter.

And Bandle doesnt have "a Gunner", they have a whole army of Gunners... Tristana is only one member of the Bandle Gunners, there are more like her.

... But that only supports more your question about why the Yordles have such a powerfull army if they live in a happy utopia, its not like humans can even enter to Bandle City by normal means as far as we know. Maybe they fight against demons like TahmKench ?

Nothing happened to Riven when she "left" Noxus. She stayed in Ionia after she defected because everyone would think she was dead. After Noxus lost the war in Ionia and pulled out I doubt they would waste resources to execute one defected soldier. Swain would know if she's alive and based on his voice lines he doesn't really care.

Swain to Riven: "The best armor is being forgotten, and you my dear, are quite forgettable."

Swain is a very practical ruler unlike Darkwill. He ended all Noxus's active campaigns after the empire stretched itself too thin fighting in Shurima, Ionia and the Freljord at the same time. Who cares about one soldier who probably should've died anyways, no matter how talented she was?

She might even sympathize with her based on his quote to Singed

""Why is he still alive? Another one of Darkwill's loose ends.""

I don’t believe that a single, lone soldier is seen as a serious threat to Swain. She’s not exactly endeavouring to tear their whole Empire down atm. And Talon doesn’t exactly strike me as the “ask questions first, stab later” type, anyways. It’s likely that she’s been ignored by Swain and forgotten by Noxus.

Having a military works as a repellent against invaders even if they aren't going to war
