What happened to 1500 ip icons?

Lately there hasn't been any event icons that you can buy with 1500 ip and I'm kinda sad about that. In the past whenever there was a group skin line released, blood moon for example, there would be a couple icons featuring a specific champion and a general blood moon themed icon that you could buy with ip. I was excited to get the transcendent icon from the immortal journey skin line because it looked really cool but I was disappointing when I found out that it cost 250 rp like the others. While I understand that icons are a small aspect of this game and not many people care that much about them, there are people (like me) that enjoy collecting icons. Not only does scrolling through my list of icons give me a sense of nostalgia, I can also tell stories about certain icons that newer players will never have access to. "See these icons? They were related to the Gangplank rework. He was disabled for a while because he was "dead", there was a new gamemode, the howling abyss became Bilgewater, there was a cool new announcer, it was crazy!" I always try my best to get every free icon from events (the star guardian mission made me regret my life decisions). I also find it interesting to see which icons are sandwiched in between worlds icons as a sort of timeline of what happened in a year. I'm aware that Riot is a business and they already give away a lot of free stuff through hextech crafting and missions, but it also means that certain icons are locked behind another paywall of mission passes. I just hope that there will be more chances to get icons with ip in the future, aside from the mystery icon thing in the upcoming BE shop.
