Confused about the future of Music in League

So I'm confused about what's happening with the music. Riot are you suggesting that there will be no more Event/Champion themes? Will Qiyana and Arcade be the last ones to have a theme? I hope not. The soundtrack of league is such an amazing part of league and its world.

"This change also frees up the art and music teams". This doesn't explain much too. What sort of projects will the music team be going through if they're not doing Champion and Event themes?

The update also has some under-the-hood changes to prepare for additional optimizations to the client in the upcoming years: two-factor authentication, background patching, and yes, one day, support for our next game

Seems like they're using some client improvements to justify moving a fair portion of their art team to their unannounced game project. Maybe their auto chess game mode too.

It's a shame, tmk Riot's music team is the one that's universally praised and almost never criticized.

Idk I loved login screens. That login screen for when I just started was the season 6 one with Caitlyn firing out a bullet from her scope, and that really helped with getting me to enjoy the game.

I'm pretty sure they would keep making champion themes, just uploaded on youtube like they've been doing

I'm actually surprised by the "support of future game" remark. It doesn't sound like they are talking about the Auto-Chess since it sounds like they are talking about something in further future and not specified by name plus Auto-Chess is simply a mode. Makes me partially worried.

They released Yuumi, Pulsefire Ezreal (from the Ezreal update last year), and Mordekaiser themes, despite none of them getting a login screen. I think music is an important part of establishing characters now.
