Is Nidalee Vastayan?

Nidalee - Biography - Universe of League of Legends

After reading Nid's new lore, I've grown curious-- is she of any relation to the new Vastayan group that's been popping up in the lore? I ask because I'm writing some 'fic that would benefit from knowing, or just some analysis is fine too. @Rioters, if it's under wraps, I totally understand!

It is possible that she is a shape shifter, who have their powers due to weak ancestral roots with the Vastaya, but she is not Vastayan in the way that Rakan and Xayah are.

No she isn't, nidalee is not vastayan, she is something else not yet revealed.

maybe shes a vastayan with special powers, elise could be like this too

On the Vastayan universe page the featured image is a tree that denotes the different type of Vastayan. There is a fallen leaf with "shapeshifters" written over it. I imagine that's what Nidalee is.
