Kayn - who wins the internal conflict?

As we all know, Kayn battles versus Rhaast for control over his body, as it is nicely depicted ingame. But will we ever get an official statement who wins this conflict? The character seems to be unfinished if this question stays unsolved. It's hard to include him into fanfiction this way.
