Candidates for: Bilgewater/Pirate themed skins

It's finally that time that I get to discuss this topic to finally put it out of my mind. Bilgewater and various pirate themed skins hold a place in my heart a bit, since when I was little I always fantasied about being one (We all did that I some point I assume). On top of that, I was around during the Burning Tides event that heavily focused on the pirate theme. It had a great narrative, a great mode, the introduction of some of these skins and of course GP's rework, it really made me get sucked into League after that (until now a days). Nevertheless, I'm happy to be talking about this series.

Now you might of guessed that this theme revolves around pirate (if you didn't well....what did you expect?). But one thing I generally want to say is that some skins may or may not always be fully Bilgewater themed. While yes we have OG GP and the Burning Tides series, we did have some other pirate skins that were more of the classical pirates we knew as kids. In short, these ideas don't fully have to be based around the BIlgewater look, but considering that Riot likes to keep themes now a days, we'll try to keep ideas close to that.

Ideas that I have:

Not my best idea but basically he's covered in seaweed instead of wraps. Ult and Q entraps people with seaweed, W has some effects to add flopping fish out of him, etc. Not my best or proudest concept but it's still something.

Basically picture him as a first mate. Door or chest lid for his shield, ult is like a giant wave that leaves a coral reef or something.

Think of a giant sea dragon or something similar to deep sea or a sea dragon of sorts. Basic concept with him having water balls and ult is just a powerblast of water. Again, not my best idea but until I see Sol's next skin, this is something I'd like to see.

Ironside or Flying Dutchman Corki. Pretty basic concept that has some use.

Could have some interesting things going on, like W shield is more water based or Q has small water effects. Hell, Ult could be a giant cannonball explosion (splash would be saved for PP)

Found some neat concept art of 'Raider Fiora'. If you look it up, I guarantee that it could work as a pirate skin.

Honestly I'm surprised he didn't get a skin like this earlier. He seems perfect. Just make his barrel say rum on it or something.

Kind of a cheap idea but make her more Bilgewater themed and make her idol some form of chest of gold or even a cannonball or something. IDK I'm just tossing whatever ideas come to my head.

Kind of a similar theme to Fiora with the raider aspect. This one I just thought of after her rework. Could work if done correctly.

Just Janna being more of a pirate and a bit more storm-y looks to her abilities

Again, found some concept art of him as this sunken captain, kind of being a bit of an octopus and a shell on his staff. Really cool looking and would work perfectly.

Kayn could work for this. SA he could become more of a pirate or even some form of merfolk if we wanted. Rhaast could be similar to Aatrox in the shark theme, would be perfect for a hammerhead.

He's got to have "captain" somewhere in his massive amount of titles somewhere. Would make sense for him to be a captain of a ship at one point.

Abilities are very water based, voidlings are like crabs or some of those creatures form BMB. Standard concept. Next.

Not really a whole lot to do with him but he could work as another pirate raider. Plus his undertow is part of the ocean if you know what that is (especially if you've seen Finding Dory)

How could you not? Rakan especially fits in perfectly and Xayah could fit in as well.

...yeah I don't know fully about this one either. I got the idea in my head and I've seen a few concepts of it but honestly I'm not entirely confident on him.

COULD work. There was a brief concept of him with a kraken like head and tentacle beard so the idea couldn't be far off.

In a sense could make an interesting look. Her W we haven't seen with a water effect yet, and if there are ocean drakes in League then I don't see how we can't have a look like that for Shyvana.

I saw a small sketch of him and I first brushed it off, but the more I thought about it the more I realized it could work. His little furnace and E could be like a cannon that shoots out a cannonball, he could have the undead pirate ghost theme of revenge about him, have a big old pirate hat!

I'm paring theme together because they feel like you can just know what they'd look like. Plus they kind of fit the bill of being cutthroats and treasure hunters

Along the lines of raider or even a pirate king look, wielding a giant cutlass. Preferably would like to wait until he gets a rework though (HATE PLAYING AGAINST HIM!)

IF URGOT WERE TO GET A SKIN SOON AND IT WASN'T DARKSTAR, THEN THIS WOULD BE THE NEXT BEST FOR ME! Think about it: Legs could be parts from a broken ship, he rotates on a steering wheel, his shotgun knees are basically cannons with some sort of shrapenal shell or just general flamespitter, ult shoots some sort of anchor or shell and drags them into a hungry shark/kraken/sea monster. I'd love to see that. HELL GIVE HIM A TINY PIRATE HOOK HAND!

Kind of cheating here a bit but could act as Deep Sea or even add a kraken skin.

Could work as a swashbuckler. If his Nightblade has a very curved sword then why not give him a cutlass?

Could work in the future. Kind of be a lookout or something. Would need to wait till he gets a rework and more flash.

Could act as zombie pirate with broken wheel on back. Would say deep sea diver but that isn't quite a pirate theme.

Idk, it could work. Pirates used hand bombs back then.

Similar to Amumu but would be more focused on more than seaweed. Could see some neat ideas.

AND LAST MINUTE IDEAS THAT I'M HAVING:

Some form of raider with an old flint-lock(?) rifle

Water effects. Golem of coral or broken ships and stones

GIANT SEAGULL

GIANT SEAGULL PIRATE

IRONSIDE

Raider

Could fit the theme.

Guns are like flintlocks, maybe similar to MF.

Right, to that's all of the concepts that I could come up with. I apologise if I'm not super detailed but I'm writing this when I'm super tired from the whole day and not a lot of my ideas I can explain that well without sounding like I'm repeating or without my artistic skills being far far better then they are now.

Anyways, did I miss some ideas for champs to be eligable? Do you have different takes on what these champs could look like? Discuss them down below and start thinking about ideas next time as we go over Arcade in roughly two weeks from now unless otherwise from my school work or I finally get fed up with League.
