Could Kindred be a co-existing Spirit and Demon?
Lamb being the spirit, who draws her power from the peace and acceptance of death.
Wolf being the demon, who draws his power from the fear and denial of death.

They are beyond both labels. They really just... are.
They are something else. Old and different
People used to think that the Kindred were a spirit that took AFTER death. Like Janna with compassion or old Aatrox and war (not a spirit but his devotion to a singular component of life is similar to spirits).
It's clear now that they are more than that, they are an entity more on level of Nagakaborous and Aurelion Sol.
Well, before Lamb and Wolf were created, they were a man.
Perhaps humanity is built on a foundation of spirits and demons.
Interesting idea for a potential rework.
As the tale goes, they are simply two sides of a single being. neither demon nor spirit or even angel. they represent the core of the original, whoever it was.
