Here's why Kindred are the only dual champion that should be regarded as "they"

Okay, so we all know that for most of the community and even Rioters, Kindred is just a Lamb with Wolf being a secondary particle effect of an inferior importance. Now, let's compare The Eternal Hunters to other "dual" champions:

  • Kayn It's pretty easy to understand. Kayn is the name of the guy who wields Rhaast. Kayn could exist without Rhaast and vice versa because that's how it was once Kayn was a little child. If he had never found Rhaast, he'd just fight with another weapon (only without that internal fight between human and darkin thing).

  • Nunu Simple one again. Nunu is a fuking kid who found a yeti and decided to ride it. Nunu is still a child and his yeti is still Willump. Even though Nunu's kit doesn't really provide much information about who's casting the spells, we still call the Champion "Nunu", not "Willump & Nunu".

  • Quinn Similar to Nunu's case with the difference that Quinn is not riding Valor (kinda). And yet again, Valor is a bird that would do perfectly fine without Quinn, hunting some animals like normal birds do and Quinn would still shoot a crossbow, but without ability to move quickly around the map or something.

  • Kindred I hope you see the pattern now. Every single one of the champions mentioned above is the primary entity and thus, it's name is automatically the name of that champion. With Kindred it's different. Even though, Lamb is the primary one (she has knowledge but can't feel and the opposite for Wolf), name of this champion is not Lamb, Ina or Farya, but Kindred (spirits). Also, they cannot exist without each other. Without Wolf, Lamb wouldn't be able to hunt those who run from death and if Wolf was the only one, it'd be unfair for those people who accept their fate as he can only rip things apart. They need each other to be complete.

Got it? Kindred is the name for both Lamb and Wolf. If Nunu and Willump had their own name like "Nunump" or something, then we'd have similar situation. Yet, Kindred are the only champion with this kind of exception and please, respect the Grim Reaper of Runeterra or one day Wolf will come to remind you of his existance. Hope I got you convinced!

Quinn's name was "Quinn and Valor" before her release. It's even in the champion spotlight and was like that on the PBE. The only reason Riot shortened it to Quinn was because of localization issues. Because of this, I still like to refer to the champion as 'they' from time to time. Just because it's not in the name doesn't mean the champion isn't comprised of two distinct entities. But if we're being technical about in-game names and such then yes, Kindred is the only one who currently warrants that pronoun.

Nah it's literally all lamb. Wolf just tags on for the ride. Only time I'll ever consider Kindred "they" is if they rework her so wolf actually is part of her kit.

Also with the stuff going on down below the lamb kindred hence it is her but technically they used to be the same person in kind of a spooky lore way bc they used to be one and got split in half.
