Reminder of how the VGUs are chosen.
Four primary factors
1, Player Requests: Most weighted reason, but current survey line up is unknown, Aatrox was second and Nunu first in latest one, so I guess this is why he is finally chosen. 2, Overall Design / Art / Theme Level 3, Potential of a Champion's Archetype when something they think is badass, like shadow ninja girl or Angel/Fallen Angel. Irelia rework is result of this. 4, Other Events / Projects going on around Riot - Don't know any example for this besides Gangplank VGU.
Other factors: Team Excitment - how much Riot is hyped about xy champion, clearly they wont go with an idea they feel is bad/ not solid. Champion Diversity: Affects things like where champion is played, which subclass its from, what faction it is from, light/dark? Basically, IMO an option to prevent everything from being about top lane and jungle champion rework and back again.
Reminder of tier ones:

Out of these, the ones I think are definitely should be considered urgently for next year are:
. Sadly, all of these minus Fiddle is considered top laner as fantasy, I refuse to count Morde as ADC because that is up in the air for change.
are there on the list, not sure when they'd get used, but certainly would make role divergence, as marksman have so far been mostly left out of VGUs.
is bit of an odd duck, but they probably gonna let him be viable in other lanes, whenever he is touched.
What are your hopes for 2019 if we go by 4 or 5 VGU a year logic?
comes
and that's it for this year???
