Lore Question: Does Noxus Have Slaves?

I've been looking through the lore, and I can't find a definitive yes or no answer.

The closest thing I found to a yes came from Kayn's lore, and how he was a forced child soldier, of course that's just Noxian war strategy. I'm trying to find out whether or not slaves are present in everyday Noxus life, similar to the slaves of pre-Civil War America. Do the aristocrats and other powerful figures in Noxus own slaves? Are they a symbol of power?

While, from many viewpoints, it would be safe to say Noxus probably does have slaves, from a differing viewpoint, we have a hard no. Noxus believes in strength, as well as not wasting materials and resources. Taking in conquered people as slaves could be seen more as a luxury, and simply not worth the materials and effort they would have to put forth for something that, in the long run, doesn't truly benefit Noxus.

Probably not.

I’m taking from Talon and Karthus’ lore for this.

Talon grew up in Noxus Prime’s underground, where laws really only applied if you got caught. If even a place that lax on laws didn’t mention slavery, I doubt you’d see much in the Empire at large.

And then there’s Karthus. Dude grew up in an almshouse absolutely packed to the brim with people. Most of those people were barely not starving to death if Karthus’ canonical rats-and-rainwater diet was any indication. If it was legal to make people work in exchange for nothing but the food required to keep them alive (slavery by any other name), no way would an almshouse full of nearly free labor get passed up.
