Azir has been back for 5 years and Shurima is yet to establish themselves as a political force in modern Runeterra. Ixaocan has been revealed, we've been getting Icathia lore which could mean stuff could be happening there and there are potentially 5 darkin running around. Shurima needs some major development!! I wanna know how Azir is running the place and how things are and I wanna know what world leaders think about a god damn god warrior being back in action with an ancient empire at his back.

Imagine if ancient Rome suddenly came back to life in our modern era.. Yeah

I think that's missing out on the real azir question: does he understand glass? Cause I can forsee some problems with him being an all powerful ruler now that glass is a major part of society with windows and all, and he's just a pigeon flying into them over and over...

E X A C T L Y Btw we don't know if Shurima has established itself as a nation or not because we have no idea what happened in this 5 years gap. But yes I agree with you we need to see more Modern Shurima development (and modern as in modern day not just Imperial Shurima set long in the past)

the thing about this is like, with the lore changes they dont really fit the game now, we have a world thats actually in motion instead of just back stories, we cant really move forward all that much with certain champs because as it is the league of legends pretty much exists as more of a separate, Smash Bros scenario

Yes! And I would love to see if Azir would do something about Icathia and if he would try to fight this outworldly evil and if he could cooperate with Xerath for this common danger
