I suspect that his sword is styled in the middle eastern fashion as the modern conception of demons and hell is derived from art work of one famous painter, I forget his name, but he painted various artworks throughout his career which where inspired by the Islamic depiction of hell. From that art the modern concept of hell was formed. Fire and brimstone and whatnot. The modern demon is a concept from the Islamic Djinn(Jinn). The show Supernatural shows these depictions best as they show the demon in the form of smoke and ember. In Islam, Djinn were created from smoke, while man was created from clay and Angels from light. Hence that is why Yasuo's hair is smokey and he is part fire and turns red. I think it came out really cool.
