i don't know why you thought this what made Aatrox appealing. I want to feel like a bloodthirsty war god who sits in the biggest fights and comes out on top. That's what makes him fun; being god-damn unkillable while you're bashing people with 2.0+ AS and healing.

And this sword looks like something you pulled off of AdventureQuest

I will say though, that being unkillable while bashing people is what made him broken and unfair in the first place... So I don't really see how Riot could preserve that without leaving him as a problem champion.

So, the "relentlessly pursuing foes" part makes it sound to me like they are trying to play up the diver/fighter aspect. It seems to me that he functions a lot like a Juggernaut now, where if you let him sit there and smack you, he's going to heal while you die and there's nothing you can do about it. You kind of have to burst or kite him now to stop him, and it seems to me like that's the biggest problem with his playstyle, tbh.

Am I just super wrong about that? If so, correct me. Because his current style doesn't seem to be working.

You are only seing it from a the top, seeing a 2D visual you never know, it might look something similar to this:

And if it does than I think the theme of a Bloodthirsty War God will fit it really perfectly.
