So whats with Demacia & Noxus
We know that there against each other but is there anything to it? Other then Noxus being the bad guys and Demacia being the good guys, there nothing else to really go off of other then that. Its just ill told I guess.

While lore 90% of the time has Noxus being basically straight up villains, its not so much that one are the good guys and the other are bad guys, it really a complete clash of cultures and ideals.
Demacia is a monarchy with a RIGID caste system.
The royal family is the leaders and always will be, noble families like the Crownguards and Laurents will always be the wealthy and powerful, and with few exceptions the commoners will remain commoners and the poor will remain poor. Exceptions like Quinn and Shyvana are rare, and even then are often looked down on by the upper class.
The people there have their standard of morals, and ANY deviation is looked upon as evil. The laws are rigid and strict. But they do apply to everyone, including the nobles. Noble's who dishonor themselves in someway can and will be punished. Fiora even took it upon herself to punish her father when she found out he was being shady.
Demacian's place great value on their honor and upholding the laws of justice as they see it
Noxus is a military dictatorship, run by the High Command with the Grand General acting as its head. But the Noxian military is a meritocracy. Only the most capable, intelligent, or ruthless advance. Darius was once a nobody, and now he is the Hand of Noxus and is looked on as an example for other Noxians to follow. You can advance in Noxus so long as you are capable in your field.
However, this means that in order to get ahead you may have to do it by climbing over the backs of others. As such Noxus has somewhat loose morals by our standards. There are laws and guards in place to protect average citizens, but those laws frequently do not apply to those already at the top, and if someone is able to actually get away with theft for example, many might just shrug and say "if the thief was able to steal what he wanted, avoid the guards, and keep from getting the stuff stolen away from him...he deserves to have it more anyway" Noxians don't care much for honor...your either strong enough to keep what you have and advance....or your weak and will either remain low class, or just die to help advance someone else.
The two city-states have such radically different ideals that its no wonder they are constantly at war. Demacia views Noxians and a bunch of backstabbing cowards, having to resort to underhanded tactics, and seeking only to conquer. Noxus view Demacians as fools who potentially keep their best and brightest shackled by a caste system, who needlessly restrict themselves with rules and regulations, and are therefore not worthy of ruling their land.
Technically Demacia and Noxus being good or bad is based purely on perspective. Similar to how Zaun could be compared to Piltover. We have our way of doing things in reality that predispose us to believing our way of doing things is correct. Noxus is Brutal, but they are Free. Demacia champions Justice, but they never say anything about Freedom.
Well I can say that Noxus probably set there sights on certain places. And Demacia couldn't let things get conquered. They're the nosy neighbors
This is not about "good" or "bad" this is a clash of cultures.
Noxians believe in strenght in all forms. Weak die, the strong survive. Everyone who is strong is worthy of respect. It has its problems.
Demacia believes in blind justice. They think that everyone should be treated well, ccriminals be punished. But with them there is a huge inequality because of the royalty. It has its own problems too.
