Why did Riot not take the original voice actor? Very upset

The new voice over for Galio is absolutely awful compared to the original. Why in the hell did they get a new voice actor? The original was legendary. I own the legendary skin for Galio before this release. I loved this character but his kit was garbage. I even answered the survey for Galio as one of the champs I want to see reworked. I'm really pissed that you'd just not take the same voice actor. There is literally no reason for a new voice actor... It's so fucking stupid. I hate the new color scheme. His old color scheme was soooooo much better. The visuals and audio of this rework is a massive disrespect to the original work. The stupid part is they didn't even need to rework that. The kit needed a slight update but instead you completely destroyed his character. He's nothing like his original character. I swear to god Riot needs to offer refunds for these awful reworks. I don't even want any of his skins because I have no intention of playing this work of shit. I want his original voice over and I get no choice. Riot seriously gives a ratass about their loyal and old players. This is a clear example of that. I would really appreciate a response for why we can't have the original voice actor for this.

Voice actors have contracts - if you write up a contract like 6 years ago for a voice actor, that contract for their services only applies until they finish recording what you hired them for. You have to schedule studio visits, do multiple recordings, and overall coordinate many things when it comes to voice acting. And that's just for a one time gig.

Fast forward to present time. That voice actor could no longer be working, or if he is, he may not want the role. It could have been just a paycheck to get by back then, and now it could be small peanuts compared to his other work. He could be in an actor's union and have limitations on who employs him or maybe Riot wasn't willing to hire him at his current fee. Furthermore, if the actor hated that particular role or if Riot disliked working with that actor, why would he reprise it? There are so many factors as to why the same voice actor wouldn't have or couldn't have returned to do the new vocals, and that's just from their end. It could be as simple as Riot wanted new vocals in a direction that differed from before. So think before you speak, because the world of business and acting isn't as simple as you think or are making it out to be.

I find the new voice fits him better. Sure having the old voice could be cool but then whats the point in a VU without giving a good and different voice to the champ. They did a great job and im sorry if you dont like it but id rather take this amazingly done voice over instead of the current Galio. Plus the voice actor is amazing
