Has Riot Ever Considered Updating Splashes?
Sivir is in dire need for a few and what about Kog? There are so many that need rework, but in a lot of cases some splash updates would be nice.

Every single champion that has one of the chinese splashes and isn't due a VGU like Sivir and Gangplank should have their splashes modernised every so often when Riot's art team has time. I don't see why hobo GP is still a thing YEARS after Riot reworked him.
Alistar needs some love on his splashes. I wanna see a majestic (amd accurate) one for Golden Alistar.
I mean MF got a handful of splash updates on her skins and Varus got one on his base skin
but if i had to choose who else i'd like to see get one............
Almost all of the older champions have had updates to their splash arts already so obviously they have considered it. Some of the skins do still need new ones though.
Yes they have considered. Then they got lazy and made a billion of excuses.
One was "Reworked champions have too much splash so all the resources go there"
Then the number of reworks in a year literally cut in half, so there should be more resources to do splash updates again, but nope.

They used to update the skin splash arts of all the champs who received a visual update in the recent past, but they eventually stopped doing that, because the increased amount VGUs meant that they needed to focus on these splashes first.
With that being said, I do think they commented that they might be able to do a few of these again, since the amount of VGUs did go back a little bit(and Volibear has only few skins)
Yes. Many times over the past couple of years alone.
With the recent increase on VGUs in the past few years they cut back updating the art for others. MF was the last to get them in early 2018, but now they have begun to slow down VGUs again so hopefully we will see some more art updates in the future.
Sivir and Ashe though, being amongst the ones needing updates won't get theirs for a bit as MF being a marksmen was the last to get them. I'd say any number of the mages like Annie, Heimer, Karthus could be up or maybe supports like Ali or Sona.
