Am I the only one who has felt this years skins to be... underwhelming?

Skins this year in comparisons to last years have really felt like consecutive 'mehs'.

There was the Fiasco's of Heartseeker Rakan and Xayah, GGMF and recently BM Evelynn (First time I've seen -81 downvotes on a feedback thread before it was reset).

Dark Star Jarvan coming out to very mixed reactions of "It's a nice skin but not the right theme"

As well as Badlands Rumble being released with a sensation of feeling unfinished due to a lack of new animations.

I'm not saying any of this years skins have been outwardly bad, rather just that this years skins have left PBE with feelings of "It could of been so much better" and "It was underhyped".

Incomparison to lasts year constant gems this year is feeling like the skins team has slowed down a lot. I'm hoping with the release of the PF skins we'll see more exciting skins moving forwards.

Luckily the Evenlynn skin has spooky Japanese flute/guitar when you're stealthed...that's probably the one redeeming thing going for this 975 tier skin.

I sort of agree, but maybe pool party skins will make it better.

I think the ones on the pbe are great but yes they have been pretty bad this year in general.

  1. Was unaware of Pulsefire Shen so eff yes!
  2. DSJ was so meh it was off the charts
  3. The solution here is more Lux skins.
