I'd love to see a champion from the Blessed Isles

Just got an idea of a champion, who somehow managed not to get affected by the catastrophe that happened in the Blessed Isles, which turned it in to the Shadow isles. It would really show us what the islands were like back then, and could provide us with some really neat lore too! What if it was the ruined king? Wouldnt it be cool if the only one not to be ruined by the very magic he unleashed to the isles, was the ruined king himself? He could have a really great personality too, since on the outside he would look all clean, friendly, and blessed, but on the inside he would propably be a psychopath, since he was the one who unsleased these powers in the first place.
