It has been evident to me that Aatrox does not possess jokes or proper taunting voice lines. In fact, his taunts should have been the jokes. Is this an overlook by the riot team or is he not supposed to be intimidating when "taunting" enemies? Also where is his joke? He just swing a sword above his head and call that funny?

I was hoping we'd get some resolution on this by now considering I thiiiiiiink Odin/WAAARGHbobo was doing VO things for Ashe's new skin/her voice update relatively recently. But as of right now this still seems to be unresolved. I think the idea of Aatrox humming or whistling something would be pretty cute, but I'm guessing if anything they're just gonna move some lines around at some point since getting the voice actor back in to just hum or whistle would probably be a tad silly/expensive.

The one who was responsible for putting all the jokes into his taunt, was under the impression that his joke would be a funny animation with no voice lines attached to it, hence why all these joke-related voice lines were added to the taunt-command instead of the joke one.
Though I'm wondering why they didn't move some of his quotes to his joke, considering that by now they actually did move a lot of "taunts" to other triggers(such as meeting a champ for the first time or killing a specific champ).
Taunt == Intimidate Taunt = Joke (As long as it ' taunts' them)
And as for jokes~ all are dry like sand on the sun. No matter what champion. They should hire a comedian for this kind of stuff instead of relying on paper team.
I made a post about this a few months back. The best thing to do IMO would be to put his current taunt lines on his joke and take at least two (that seems to be the standard number of taunts for new champs now) of his current movement quotes and place them on his taunt instead.
I think these two could work really well: "Let them lament... my name..." (he literally says this one when he uses his taunt in the trailer)
"Bow, worms! Bow before the World Ender!" (makes sense with his taunt pretty much being him exposing himself, wings and all)
