#First and foremost, I would like to say that I love and cherish all of the hard work that Riot puts into their skins, champions, lore, etc. and this is in no way meant to hate on this skin in specific, but rather, provide critique on a skin for a champion that I absolutely adore.

#Her Look: So, Miss Fortune got a new Star Guardian skin, one of my personal favorite skin lines, and at first, just seeing them all together in the teaser video early this morning, I was very excited! As the day went on, the PBE was released and I became a bit disappointed in the way things were turning out. Miss Fortune's skin seems to be the most underwhelming of the bunch, and I've heard this from friends, people over in the comments of YouTube, and Twitter, and unfortunately I agree. The model seems really boring, and almost doesn't feel like MF- I think the lack of hat/ head piece really take away from her pre-developed character (And I know this is alternate universe MF, but come on, girl needs a more visible hair accessory). Her outfit also seems the most generic of the 5 introduced, having no trim to the skirt, and no real new assets added, I mean, Soraka gets a set of wings that flourish in her backing animation, and MF gets... nothing very new. Going back and looking at her other models made me feel like even some of her most basic skins, such as Waterloo or Cowgirl have more character than this skin, which is really a let down considering that the Star Guardian line normally brings all of this character to the table! But for her it has fallen flat.

#Her Abilities: As for her abilities, there are a few things that are, again, underwhelming. Her Q is probably the best of the bunch, which isn't saying much since it's the least visually stimulating, and has the least potential to be changed into something new and exciting. Her W, E, and R however are such missed opportunities, and honestly feel A LOT like Arcade to both me, and others that I have talked to to gather some new perspectives. Her E's indicator is so bland, and I get that her theme for this seems to be the color Red, and the four pointed star, but it isn't as visually appealing as any of the other guardians released so far- This goes for the ult as well. Going back to Soraka, her abilities all look PHENOMENAL, the indicators are visually stimulating and well designed, the color choices blend so well, and mesh beautifully with the rest of her, and her backing animation (which is another section on its own) honestly warrants that skin to be priced higher. Syndra, Soraka, and Ezreal are all in the boat of 1350, and the pricing makes so much sense since they are gorgeous both in design and visuals (all of their spells, autos, and backing animations are stunning, and make real use of their cute new companions); MF just falls so flat in comparison and as someone who mains her, and has been waiting for a new skin with beautiful new effects to play with, it just feels not that great.

#Her Backing Animation: As I have gone on for way too long, I'll keep this one short I promise. Her backing animation doesn't feel as magical as the other guardians. Its great up until the end when she guns down her magical companions- it loses a lot of the star/sparkle particles that I think it should have to keep it visually appealing. Once again, going back to Soraka, or Ezreal- their backing animations are jam packed with particles, wings, flourishes here and there, and it is amazing. Honestly, slow clap it out for the entirety or Riot on those two, wow! But when you take a look at the group of them, MF feels like the one who got the least work put into her, and its just unfortunate to see- especially when compared to the rest of the guardians.

Okay, that about wraps up my extremely long critique (I am so sorry this is so long I just had a lot to say, I hope you can forgive me for that) and I mean, if nothing ends up happening, I understand completely, and I can agree with the choices made if I so have to. Thank you again for being so amazing, and pouring so much time into this game that I have fallen in love with! I wish you all the best! :)

People seem to miss this about the skin, but in the Star guardian skin ult, the pets are doing half of the firing. It's finally an explanation as to how so many bullets come out of Fortune's guns lol.

Actually I totally agree I have been maining Miss Fortune since Season 3 and she has never gotten a decent skin except Pool Party, and yes Captain Fortune is not that good either its 1350RP tier skin with the only different thing the Recall Animation where she just shoots an orange no new Voice Lines nothing and it was even an event for her... all of her skins are a bit meh , she doesnt have any 1820RP skin tier and I was hoping we would get one...

The model tho is horrendous, she looks like a granny who is running away from her hairdresser while she is trying to cosplay anime, her face is absolutely horrible and she looks pretty old, her hair is disgusting and similar to Pentakill Kayle, her outfit is just like Lux but recolored with red and white, the hat is gone, her guns are not even that good and her pets should play bigger role just like Jinx or Lulu, Janna too, her abilites are horrible like you said especially her Q and Ult they could have been so much more, no new voice lines, so she will be flying around shooting stars and glitter while she will be talking about powder monkeys and setting sails.............. compared to the other skins that came along with this... whatever that is supposed to be is an absolute trash, I believe Riot should remake her model record new voice lines and turn it into a 1820RP tier skin like Jinx and Ahri but that wont happen because... you know.. its Riot*[slayer-jinx-unamused]*

I love the skin.

I do think her E + R could use a little more oomph.

Rakas E made me go "Whoah" and I want the same from MF.

I disagree with every point you have made. Personally, I think it looks great. The only issue I have with the skins is the same issue I have with a lot, if not all, of her skins, and that is that the handles on her guns are so huge that her hand can't properly grip them. Like, she can't even get her hands halfway around them XD Smaller handles would be nice.

Also, I don't think she needs a hat. Her secret agent skin doesn't have a hat and it looks fine. I wouldn't complain too much if there were one I imagine, but I can't think of one that would quite fit.

I'd like to see more bells and whistles as well. Still it is nice we are getting something.

I think a bit more of the good ole MF charm would have spiced up the skin. Hopefully the splash art sells some of it.

So the splash art came out on the PBE today and it is phenomonal! I knew that the splash art would save the day in the art department... but I still think the animations need tweaking.

And now that the splash has been revealed, it almost makes me wish that she had a clip on both sides of her head, because I mean, I feel as though it would be a great mid ground between no hat, and head accessory.
