Why would his interactions with Lux feel artificial? Do Illaoi's with Braum or GP feel artificial? Does Taliyah's with Ekko? Ekko and Jinx? What makes you believe Riot would suddenly have the incapacity to make a romantic interest that doesn't flow or feel cohesive?
After all, in Lux's VO addition, she acknowledges that she has no idea who Ezreal is, or even why people think they're dating. We don't know if she's honest or being a total cold-hearted bitch to him here, but we'll see how Ezreal feels.
