(Theory) Pyke's Lore

Riot just released Pyke, The Blood Harbor Ripper, and I have some reasons to believe that Pyke is related to the lore between Miss Fortune and Gangplank . I was reading lores on League champions because I was bored, and half way reading her lore, where is says MF and says what she accomplished, something caught my eye.

When the lore describes Miss Fortune's tales that are being spread far and wide, the last sentence states she dragged Doxy-Ripper from a leviathan in the slaughter docks. Does Doxy-Ripper sound familiar? Maybe not the first part, but Ripper. Ripper, like as in The Blood Harbor Ripper perhaps?

This makes sense with what Riot shows us in the Pyke champion teaser. We see a man, getting eaten by a monster of some sort, possibly a leviathan, the same leviathan form Miss Fortune's lore. Which means, that the man she saved, is indeed Doxy-Ripper, and is now known as Pyke, The Blood Harbor "Ripper".

In the champion teaser, we see Pyke drowning, and this can be due to the fact that his crew betrayed him, and let him drown. The question is, who's crew was with him the day he died? The one and only Bilgewater King himself, Gangplank.

And if Gangplank betrayed Pyke, it makes sense why Pyke is a support. If I'm correct, Miss Fortune wants one thing in common with Pyke. For Gangplank to die. Maybe this is why Pyke is a support, he and MF share a common goal, so they will set to achieve that goal together, and they can do so in game if Miss Fortune is the ADC, and Pyke as support. Then, they could kill enemies one by one until they face Gangplank once and for all.

Now, this is my theory on the lore of Pyke and who he is, and how he makes Bilgewater so much more interesting. I may be wrong, but I think I got the main parts down on how these three pirates can be related. TBH, this is my first theory I've written for League, and I hope you guys enjoyed reading it!
