Will Akali still be friends with Shen or at least view him in a positive manner?

I really hope Akali leaving the Kinkou didn't turn them into enemies and they still remain on good terms with one another(while Shen might not agree with her choice he at least understands it and the good intentions behind it).

Shen has had a hard life man. Everyone he knows either leaves,dies or turns against him :s. killed his dad and became his nemisis is basically his best student turned dropout

is all he's got left by this point lol I doubt he is gonna remain student come his VGU.

to make things worse there's a madman out there planning his death. being Shen really sucks.

Lets hope she didn't become an ahole toward Shen since he is not her Teacher anymore. Also realizing now its truly sad to be a Shen.

I think its more " i have bested you master, i have nothing left to learn from you." At least thats what i got from the teaser. She doesn't hate shen and probably respects him, but she is arrogant and goes off to basically teach herself.

So Shen is not like old enough to be Akali's dad it seems in the new lore. That would mean that the whole proposed "tagteam romantic duo" is no longer apparent?

Kennen isn't a student tho, he is basically older than them all.

IMO Akali & Shen were never "friends", probably some mutual respect as skilled warriors both but i doubt they were close to the point Shen would feel sad for her departure. He is so focused on his perfect balance, he might not care this much for Akali choice. She can come back if she wants. If she doesn't want to, thats ok too.

Seems like they had a massive argument before she left, like she really got damn upset at the Kinkou. I believe she left with a bitter aftertaste (apparently turned toward Shen in particular), while Shen himself seems way less afflicted. Understandably so, the Eye is supposed to be blind to all emotions.

Honeslty i feel like she wasn't that close to Shen to begin with.

EDIT : didn't see the date of the post sorry ! I wrote it after Akali lore update got revealed, so i guess it does answer indirectly
