Thoughts of Skins: Zac

Once again, it is Friday and like I said before I would be continuing this series weekly. This time we're going over our big, blobby, stretchy, green friend: Zac.

Zac has always been an...interesting case when it comes to skin topics in my book. He's a champ that in terms of gameplay and engine being stated as "hard to make skins for", which considering he's a champ that stretches, shrinks, and honestly can't have too much clothing (not "no clothing") kind of makes sense. From a design point of view, how many unique ideas can you get out of a blob? I would imagine a few but Riot hasn't seem to taken advantage of even the bare minimum of what you can do for the guy.

Well, I have to admit, coming up or searching for concepts myself has been...limited. Here are some concepts that I've either found or came up with:

• Molten/Infernal - Really basic concept. Zac is made of lava. A simple concept but one that is doable. Would be a nice change of pace from just recoloring his goo (outside of pool party).

• Cosmic - An interesting concept that I've seen floating around for a while. Could be interesting as him being made of some sort of dark matter or space goop. Actually now that I think about it...

• Odyssey - This one is...maybe something? I actually don't know I just thought about it. I mean when you look at Odyssey right now with the crew of Jinx and company, Zac could feel like he fits right in. Maybe more of this alien creature that damages itself but can regenerate. This one could be promising.

• Ice creame/Candy Kingdom - HOW HAS RIOT NOT DONE THIS YET? It's a fun, cool, simple concept. Gummy-like arms, ice cream body with cherry on top for his little ponytail thing, different candy pieces for his passive. It can work!

• Void Creature- Some sort of new void creature that damages and heals off of it's remains. Could be an interesting idea. Maybe a legendary? I don't know.

• Sandstorm/Guardian of the Sands - kind of made up of sand (boring on its own) but could be made interesting with things to add on, like bracers, Egyptian animal heads, etc. Could work out.

• Snowman - Is as it says. He's basically a snowman. Think of the snow monster Elsa made in Frozen.

• Suit Zac - A concept that people have asked for in the past. Maybe could work since Riot has been able to add clothes on Zac before but it could also be either very difficult to make it work or half assed looking and not at all good. Who knows.

• Spooky Zac - He's like a ghost/ghoul made of goop.....I'm really running out of ideas.

Anyways, those are all the concepts I could list down. There is potential for a good amount of skins to be made for him but, just not so lucky I guess. What are your thoughts on these ideas? What concepts do you have of your own that could work for Zac?
