The new Juggernau/Brawler

So someone actually made a post about this as I wrote, so I’m sorry the topics are so close together, but I wanted to give my input about what I read.

I have been asking for this type of champion for years. Literally years. I’ve asked for a brawler/juggernaut fist fighting champion for so long. So it’s nice to see it’s happening.

What I’m disappointed in is that it is a, most likely, underground volcanic champion. Why? Champions with such specific characteristics are notably boring to play and unfavorable in there character. I don’t think I can handle a champion who makes jokes about fire and rocks and uses phrases like “I’m hot stuff” when he gets a kill because he really is made of fire. So lame and cheesy.

I am also disappointed that they didn’t take this opportunity to create leagues first flying ad champion. This arch type of champion can be traced back to other characters like Superman, Goku, homelander, etc. fighting champions who would match this type of kit better and fly. We have yet to receive a flying ad champion, but we have rock champions and we have fire champions and we have fighters and juggernauts. This would have been a golden chance to get a flying ad champion.

I am also disappointed he is Ionian. If he where a flying ad champion it could have opened up so much lore. Maybe a land of people who live in the clouds. Or technology that lets them have a floating city. Orr something of that sort. Rather we get orn as a fighter. Not that interesting.

I’m sort of hoping it’s a male champion to be honest. Our last Juggernaut was Iloai. We also have a punching champion in a brawler type with Vi. Another female that to do the same thing would be kind of boring and unneeded.

I’ll wait to make a final judgement when it comes out, but seems like such a waste to make another fire or underground champion.

By "underground" they mean a (likely illegal) fighting ring, not literally underground. At least, that's what the image is implying. I doubt a nature spirit would willing participate in such a thing, and I also doubt that the Ionian people would enslave one for their entertainment.

Its likely a human or a Vastaya. Could also be a Yordle, though. Reav3 did mention about a month or so ago that there was a non-human(meaning either a Vastaya or a Yordle) in early development, though I'm assuming that's the whimsical jungler that was mentioned in the roadmap("whimsical" is often associated with Yordles).
