Corsair Quinn: Did we want it because Quinn was a Pirate, or because Valor was meant to be a parrot?

Bilgewater Quinn was something people asked for since the champion's release. My understanding of this was that a bunch of people wanted to see Valor as a Macaw or some other species of large parrot.

Am I correct in thinking this or did people actually want an Osprey?

Well, Valor is more of a predatory bird species, so an Osprey makes sense for him. The only other thing he could've been was a Kea, which is apparently a carnivorous parrot from New Zealand. I was unaware that such a bird was a thing.

I’m happy with the osprey choice, personally. Parrots/macaws aren’t exactly intimidating and could have easily made the skin feel too jokey. I’m glad the skin feels genuine and fits right into Bilgewater’s visual direction/aesthetic, though I understand the desire for a more classic pirate skin with a brightly-colored macaw.

Either way, we got to see that Quinn fits the Hidden Buxom trope. [sg-miss-fortune]

Can't speak for everyone, but I personally bought that skin because Quinn herself looks great in that outfit and her crossbow looks badass.
