So, now that the new champion roadmap is out, what about the splash update?

@Reav3 You guys, back in 2016 and 2017, started redoing splash art to champions who had a visual update back there but not to their splash art because of lack of resources at that time, such as , and among others.

You mentioned last year that you weren't going to do splash art updates back in 2018 because of the insane amount of VGU's you were doing at that time. Now that you confirmed that there's not gonna be that much of VGU's after and reworks, are you considering getting back to updating splash art this year or the next one? There's still a lot of champions waiting for that kind of treatment, such as , and among others and I'd like to know if there was some talk about this.

Give Skarner some love, he looks so awful, especially in his base splash.

Also I could use some better splashes for a few of my mains Caitlyn Graves TwistedFate .

Alistar needs updated skin splashes. His golden and black are the worst.

well i understand splash updates and vfx updates are 2 different things but youd have to imagine splash team has enough to work on currently and they may be trying to make up for that by doing vfx a bit

Guys, just a clarification about which old splash art to be updated I was referring in this thread.

Currently, there're still champions who received a visual to their aspects in-game, along with his/her base splash art, back in the day, but NOT to their other splash art asides the base one.

Take Gangplank for example. Back in 2015 he received a visual in-game update among other things and his base splash art was changed along to match with his in-game appearence . However, his other splash art didn't get updated like his base one, such as this one.

Along with Gangplank , there're other 11 champions who have currently the same problems with their art, being Annie , Ashe , Nasus , Sona , Heimerdinger , Alistar , Renekton , Karthus , Garen , Kassadin , and Sivir (who also received Visual Updates in-game back in the day, but not their other splash art besides their base ones to match their in-game appearance).
