Wait, those champions are DEAD?

I heard Jhinn shot some champs, but I didn't think you'd just kill them off unceremoniously, I mean what the hell, we cared about those champions and you just don't even give them a fitting arc you just shoot a bullet and say "dead" just to promote some one

There's fucking with a champion page and then there's desperate for attention, you don't do shock deaths in ANY game situation, build it up if you're going to kill someone. HE should have stayed dead.

This guy was taken out like rabbid dog in spite of his "mastery of shadows" without Shen (the guy who had it out for him) being involved This guy had a bunch of stories left unfinished and was only killed because of popularity She could be killed off if you, ya know, built up to it! This pisses me off the most, this hyper badass go in and punch everything and ignore all fire, just get owned by one bullet, fuck you, rito.

I was interested in Jhinn, I really was, but this is just exploitative of fan love just to generate buzz for this new champion, and you know what, no one seems to mention this aspect of the champion's list of deeds, most are on the subject of something like his missing arm or whatever, so this feels pointless and aggravating, I don't know how to fix this, but you probably don't care anyway.

They haven't been announced as dead. You're overreacting.

Chill. I know exactly how you feel. During the teasers, my biggest interest (and concern) was what actually happened to the champions. I could have cared less about the new champion. I wanted to ensure ~~my waifu Sona ~~ was not unfairly killed off just to introduce a new champion.

It took the two weeks, but when Jhin was revealed and literally nothing was mentioned about the four champions, it's pretty obvious they're not dead lorewise. They were just teasers to generate hype and discussion for Jhin. Riot's lore department is far better than wasting them off like that, especially with each of the four having highly unresolved plots.

Seriously think about it a bit: Why would riot kill off those 4 when they haven't done anything with them? The answer is:There is no reason why they'd do that. Not to mention that for now,nothing except for the teasers says anything about the champs being dead or even having been attacked.I mean remember when Gangplank nearly died,Riot made a small altar in memory of him,removed him from the game for a patch and even his champion page was like "he is dead". The fact that nothing like that happened to these 4 should make it clear that they are not dead.

The teaser either just showed who is on Jhins current hitlist and how he imagines their deaths,or the champions survived the attack.

Also there were a bunch of threads about this topic already,you are simply late to make one yourself.
