The tiltes of mages

One thing I realised, it seems mages have ranks among themselves. For example, Ryze holds the tilte of archmage, and so did his master. Before his Ascension, Xerath holded the rank of magus. This is also being shown in the level of the champions you play. For example a level 7 mage will be called archmage, while a level 2 will be called conjurer. So let's put them in order from the lowest to the highest.

  1. Initiate
  2. Conjurer
  3. Invoker
  4. Magus
  5. Warlocks
  6. Sorceror
  7. Archmage Is my theory right?

I doubt this is really the case in the lore.

Swain is called a warlock because he gains his powers from a demonic pact, not because of the level of his magical abilities.

I assumed Warlock was above Sorcerer, since Ryze was called a Warlock at some point, but looking at the champion mastery levels, that doesn't seem to be the case.

Oh, and by the way, I think you mean "title", not "tilte".
