Tahm Kench is a demon that's able to look into a person's soul and draw out their true desires to his own ends.

Tahm Kench's taunt with Ashe had a hidden meaning in it that was all but confirmed by a Rioter.

Assuming Tahm's other (non silly) quotes are also true here's what we can learn:

Gangplank "Your attempt to be monstrous is as successful as your dictatorship." Gangplank was a monster and a dictator. Now thanks to Miss Fortune he is no longer a dictator...and thanks to Illaoi...perhaps no longer a monster..

Lucian "A fool and his love are easily parted." Lucian may have unwittingly played a role in Senna's capture

Ryze "You read words and mistake that for understanding." Ryze is misinterpreting something critical about the runes he seeks to protect

Nami "The tides call you sashimi." Nami uses the tides, but does not rule them. As evidenced in her comic, there are depths that even she fears yet.

Azir "An emperor as humble as he is beloved." Despite all of his grandstanding, Azir may have actually been hated by the people of Shurima

Blitzcrank "If your heart is gold and your body is steel, why's tin between your ears?" Tin is the most malleable of the 3 metals. This may imply Blitzcrank's mechanical mind to be susceptible to corruption

Caitlyn** "You're as elegant as an outhouse in a leper colony!"** May hint at Caitlyn's posh nature being a bit of an act. It would explain why she gets along so well with the brash Vi

Diana "Girl, you're crazier than a mouse in moonshine." Diana may actually be a bit insane. Her story of betrayal (that she often laments to herself) may in fact be somewhat unreliable

Ekko "Your youthful rebellion is as tedious as your hairstyle." Ekko may have been time hopping longer than we give him credit for. It's easy to lose perspective when time ceases to be a constant. It'd be interesting if it affected his aging in some way.

Ezreal "Youthful ignorance is unfortunately your best quality." Unlike Annie, Ezreal is actually somewhat innocent. He may have never taken a life.

Fiora "A duel is a fight between two imbeciles... and you are the greatest." Fiora's narrow mindedness limits her potential to grow. All she wants to do is find someone who can outduel her. Ambition that lacks ambitiousness.

Fizz **"Wouldn't you care to travel to your people's destination?" ** Some call Fizz a Yordle, some call him a Trickster Spirit of Bilgewater. Tahm knows the truth.

Garen "You live by a code that'll never let you get what you want. Let me take you to her." Garen wants some redheaded Noxian love, but J4 said no :-(

Janna "Girl, you're as appealing as a cake in the rain." Big hint at there being more to Janna than meets the eye. Her current form may not be her only form.

Lissandra "Good ideas fall from you like pudding from a harpy." Lissandra often boasts about plans within plans, but there may be a fatal miscalculation in her current one.

TwistedFate ** "A gambler's luck is only predictable... when he's a cheat."** Twisted Fate cheats confirmed...now give Graves his money back

Xerath "A slave's mind is never free, but I suspect you got yours on discount." This one I included because damn, bro might need to see a doctor for that burn xD

Tahm Kench is extremely knowledgeable but an unreliable narrator, which makes looking through his quotes for lore hints difficult. You can't tell if he's preying on their darkest secrets, or if he's just insulting them where it hurts.

Guessing which of these are legitimate (like Garen's) and which of these are just insults (like Xerath's) can be frustrating for lore fans. Tahm Kench is even trolling the audience and wants us to get greedy for more lore details.

You mentioned the taunt with Ashe but then you didn't include it, now I'm left wondering about it.

Ehh, I think you're overanalyzing Tahm's quotes WAY too much, as well as using future information to evaluate some of the quotes. I think all of these quotes, except for Fizz' and Garen's, are just flat out insults and mockery to the champions. Nothing more, nothing less. You're doing like those people who read the Hobbit and try to analyze what Tolkein meant in his first chapter describing the fields of green and trees and the shire and trying to attach meaning to information where extended meaning isn't there. Sometimes a tree is just a damn tree.

I JUST REALIZED WHAT TAHM'S QUOTE ABOUT JANNA MEANS!!

Janna is a spirit that feeds off of hope similar to how Tahm feeds off of people's greed. In this sense, Janna is his polar opposite, and to him, the most distasteful meal he could ever have. All I got to say to Tahm is, DON'T HATE ON MY WAIFU!!

Ekko is confirmed to have aged like two years more than he should have due to time travel.

And Janna's true form is actually the bird that flies around her, her humanish body is a projection she creates.

Your explanation for Blitz is off, gold is more malleable than tin. Tin is, however, the least valuable of the three metals, so I'd argue that this is really a fancy way of saying Blitz is an idiot.

My impression from azir in the lore is that he's actually quite loved and a fair ruler. Him even planning to free slaves n stuff. He was pretty naive and that cost him his life.

"Corruption" yes sure, blitz seems very impressionable. but that can go in a positive way too. And considering his relationship with viktor i don't think it'd be easy to turn him into a doombot.

Ekko was said to be around 16 years old in the AMA back then if i remember correctly, it affects him a little but at this point in time it's quite insignificant. But that still has nothing to do with what tham says. Tham speaks about his "Youthfull rebellion", clearly referring to his dream of making zaun a better place "from the inside".

Idk why you gotta talk shit on annie. If you saw her new lore you know she never killed anyone intentionally or even directly. As for ezreal, obviously he hasn't. He's an explorer, why would he need to kill anyone. the people he runs into are gonna be dead already 90% of the time.

All in all, most of his taunts (and everyone else's) are just trashtalk. and this is tham we're talking about, he's atleast as much of a swindler as TF. Tham the type of guy to sell you Rune gold trimming services.
