We need a chart on cosmology

Or magic, or the general mechanics of the world. Every other addition to the lore has left me confused, and I’m not sure if Riot is explaining how their world works very well. With Aatrox, we learn that there are celestial concepts that bond with ascendants. Their deaths erases that concept from the planet. I can see that apply to spirits, like yordles and demons, but why does Targon have magic involving this?
