The lore behind it is that there is a war between dragonslayers and dragons (obviously) and there are main icons of dragons that are possibly the leaders of them, so far these are the icons listed. The sorceress (zyra) The oracle (Udyr) The Master (Swain)

There are 3 sides in this universe: pro dragon such as udyr, swain..., anti-dragon such as xin zhao, jarvan and the sides don't care about it such as trist, lulu
